From the Rockies to the Wasatch

Well, I moved to Provo, Utah this week, and I'm just getting settled. My older sister lives here and I wanted to come live with her and her sweet family. She has a little baby girl who is just adorable. I could eat her up! I'm so happy to be called her auntie:) I haven't quite gotten used to the idea of living in Utah because it just feels like I'm on vacation. It is really weird to be away from a home and family that I have been with for almost 18 years. I just can't fully come to terms with the fact that I'm done with high school and away from home, living basically on my own (well sorta), and saving up moneys for college. I have so many responsibilities that come with this new chapter, and it's strange. It's strange to be at a place in my life that I've waited for ever since I was a kid, and now that I'm here all I want to do is go back to being a child, going back to the 'good old days'. Haha! I'm so excited for what's ahead and I know that as long as I have Heavenly Father and the Savior in my life, then I will be able to endure through the trials and have success through the fun times.

Utah will be hard to get used to, what with the street signs being all numbers, mountains on every side, crazy reckless drivers, nasty dross water, many temples and churches (I swear I saw at least 30 church steeples above the housetops on my first day here), and the weather. I'm just glad to be here with my sister, brother-in-law, and niece. Trust me, I'm scoping out the place for hotties, bahaha, jk, but really ;) I'll keep you posted. Can't wait to visit the Springs in July! Much love <3
