So I'm a little late, but who cares right? HAPPY 4th!! The Fourth of July is one of my favorite holidays!
There is just something so fun and magical about
celebrating and being patriotic and having barbaques and watching fireworks
in the summer time with all your family! I love to listen
the song God Bless the USA by Lee Greenwood
every year! It always
makes me cry. It's so easy to take our
freedom for granted. I'm so grateful to be a free American!
So because of all the fires here in Utah, fireworks were prohibited in certain areas, including where I live. However, we live right on
the base of the mountain and we have a panoramic view of the city
so we got to watch a couple firework
shows! We did get
sparklers for my niece Raegan, which she thought
were pretty rad! When we told
her why we were celebrating today with fireworks and stuff she said,
"Happy Dertday!"
because she can't say birthday. It's the cutest thing!
Of course she's a big fan of
fireworks, I mean, what two year old isn't right?
(dumb. the sound wont work.)
It was a pretty good Independence Day! & I'm looking forward to the next!
